and by the way, even if students and civilians do had guns, and actually used it to protect themselves (and they DO have the right to protect themselves when the gov is failed to do so)
It would just be a case of self defense against a tyranny gov, won't have anything to do with 叛亂
Well, if the communist gov define 叛亂 as anyone challenge their absolute power in any way, this is another story (and not only in China, it is the same for any gov who use army to try to suppress any opposite voice, like the Soviet Union).
